The child, only 13 years old, had terrible marks on her neck

Leaving our phones plugged in after they have fully charged can decrease the battery’s effectiveness over time. But what about the charger itself? Keeping it constantly plugged into a wall outlet, whether behind the bed or next to the sofa, could lead to higher energy bills and may also pose a safety risk.

There have been numerous reports of phones catching fire or exploding during charging. To prevent this, use an authentic charger and make sure your phone isn’t covered while charging so the heat can dissipate safely.

Unfortunately, using the phone while it’s charging can be hazardous to the user, as seen in the case of a 13-year-old girl in the Satates.

The girl’s mother observed unusual red marks on her daughter’s neck after the daughter mentioned she was in pain.

The burns were severe enough that her mother took her to the doctor. At the hospital, it was found that the burns occurred while she was talking to a friend on her phone, which was connected to a wall charger. The combination of a metal necklace caused an electric arc, leading to the burns.

The mother is now sharing her daughter’s story to help prevent others from experiencing similar burns.
