Observing the playful aspect of their marriage through a story Bure shared on Instagram was enjoyable. However, her viewers reacted strongly, interpreting her lighthearted demeanor as disrespectful.
Despite the criticism, Bure stood firm. Instead of retreating, she shared the photo on her Facebook page. The two images she posted online highlighted the “sweet and spicy” nature of her relationship with her husband. In the second image, Valeri’s arm is wrapped around her shoulder, and his hand rests on her chest.
Fans warned her that the photo was inappropriate for a ‘Christian celebrity’ of her stature. Nevertheless, the actress addressed her critics. “I’m sorry if that offended you… actually, I’m not sorry,” she chuckled in a follow-up video shared on her Instagram stories. “I’m happy that we can still enjoy ourselves after all these years.”
