In our part of the United States, it’s important to frequently check around and under your car to make sure that wildlife hasn’t taken up residence. When a kind-hearted woman spotted a baby deer napping beneath the tire of someone else’s car, she decided to take action.
To ensure the driver was aware of the baby deer’s presence under the tire, the woman posted about it on Facebook. Her post rapidly gained attention and went viral.
The responses were a mix of heartfelt and humorous. Joshua Kevin Nye’s comment is currently the most popular:
You know it was an elderly woman, but how? Why, if you saw her, didn’t she just write a message instead of telling you there was a blasted deer under the tire? I’m looking for clarification!
Another comedian hoped that the driver could read, remarking, I guess you can’t always assume that based on how some people drive.
Among the more appreciative individuals was Cynthia Atkinson, who valued the woman’s thoughtful action.
Thank you for leaving the note, kind woman.
Thank you, Cynthia. It’s admirable to see people who, instead of going about their usual routines, choose to make a positive impact.
What would you have done? Continued on with your day, left a note, or tried to coax the deer out from under the car?
