The actress, who celebrated her 60th birthday on July 26, has starred in more than 50 films, including major hits like Speed (1994), Miss Congeniality, The Blind Side, and The Proposal. In 2005, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2014, Forbes ranked her as the second most powerful actress, while Time 100 recognized her as one of the world’s most influential people.

In March 2022, Sandy Bullock announced her decision to step away from the entertainment industry, shortly after the release of her romantic comedy The Lost City. She cited a desire to take a break from her on-screen career to concentrate on other aspects of her life. Since then, her only acting role has been a brief but notable cameo in the 2022 action comedy Bullet Train.

While there are no plans for a Speed 3 movie at the moment, Sandra is set to star alongside Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic 2, a sequel to the 1998 film that has since gained a cult following.
