It all began in 2005 at a prestigious “G-Day LA” event, celebrating the achievements of Australians. At the time, Kidman found herself secretly engaged to another person. However, fate intervened, and just three months after crossing paths with Urban, they found themselves engaged.
Reflecting on the whirlwind romance, Kidman admitted, “There was an enormous attraction initially, and we got engaged after three months, and then we got married really quickly, but we didn’t really know each other.” She went on to explain that their true connection blossomed post-marriage.
The actress emphasized the significance of their meeting at a particular stage in their lives, highlighting the importance of trusting one’s instincts. “From the first minute I met him, there was a feeling of, Ahhh OK, somehow I’ve met home. And he had the same feeling,” Kidman revealed. “That was all we had, but that was the essence of what we worked from.”

In honor of his father’s memory and with the intention of raising awareness, Keith Urban attended the It’s A Bloke Thing luncheon in Toowoomba in 2018. He, however, was there to perform at the Prostate Cancer Awareness/Fundraiser.
Regrettably, prostate cancer has affected other members of Keith Urban’s family, including his uncles. This personal connection makes prostate cancer awareness a cause that holds significant importance to him.
In a demonstration of his commitment to the cause, Urban generously offered to perform for free, actively participating in the fundraising efforts during the luncheon. His contribution played a crucial role in setting a new fundraising record of $2,024,000.
