At this year’s Notting Hill Carnival, an unexpected star stole the spotlight: a police officer who danced with infectious energy. You might recognize him. During a lively hip-hop performance, the DJ noticed the officer grooving near the stage and encouraged him to entertain the crowd.

Stepping forward, Police Officer Dan Graham, 34, wowed the audience with his impressive dance moves and vibrant energy. Graham, no stranger to performing on big stages, had previously reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2017. Check out the viral video below capturing Graham’s spontaneous performance at the festival.

Graham arrived at his Britain’s Got Talent audition in his police uniform, immediately catching David Walliams’ attention. Walliams was so impressed that he nearly hit the golden buzzer before Graham even spoke. But Graham had more to offer than just his appearance. He performed a captivating freestyle dance routine that charmed the women and got the men moving.

Graham was a sensation on the show, earning praise from all four judges and advancing to the next round. The following day brought more excitement for Graham. While enjoying time with friends in Epsom, Surrey, he heard a nearby car crash. According to The Standard, Graham detained the driver until on-duty officers arrived. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired driving. You can watch Graham’s Britain’s Got Talent audition below.
