A couple waited in line at the grocery store, and the woman, Karol, who was expecting a baby, was eager to reach the checkout counter. She found it challenging to stand for extended periods due to her pregnancy.

Without warning, a large man collided with the shopping cart so hard that he almost caused her to lose her balance. He brusquely said, “Move aside, I’m in a hurry.”

Her husband became very upset, his anger rising rapidly, and as he prepared to confront the disrespectful man, Karol stepped in with her own plan.

“Don’t waste yourself on him, just look what will happen next,” she whispered.

The couple stayed in place, fascinated, as Mr. Rude Guy arrogantly paid for his items and headed confidently toward the exit. However, he was abruptly stopped by the blaring of an alarm, and two guards emerged out of nowhere to escort him away.

Karol’s laughter filled the air, causing her husband to look at her with a clearly puzzled expression. “How did you know?” he asked. “While he was busy being pushy, I slipped a little surprise into his pocket—a parting gift with a security tag,” she said with a wink, continuing to laugh.

Karol’s husband was amazed, his jaw dropping in disbelief. She met his eyes with a playful innocence, and soon he joined her in laughter. He couldn’t help but feel lucky to have married such an extraordinary woman.

Karma does work wonders, but it sometimes needs a little push.
